Weigh-In

Moved my WI to monday mornings so I can keep on track on the weekend... It's kind of working... I weighed Sat. morning and Monday morning and there was no change..



still at 223.5



I FEEL smaller..and I am noticing more muscle in my legs.. so I'm just going to go with 'I am gaining muscle..which weighs more than fat (and is helping me get RID of my fat)... so I'm not stressing... If I'm *still* at 223.5 next weekend.. I will take measurements..



This week I will not waste time at night.. I have fat to lose and a concert to prepre for.. so.. After work M-F I will go to the gym.. 30-45m walk.. if I can walk fast(er) I will do less time.. I also want to add the weight machines, just for the upper body 2-3 times per week



I am having more food and breakfast and lunch so I can have a smaller meal/light meal after the gym.. then it's up to the college to practice



In bed..lights off by 11... up at 7am...



I need to be consistent. I looked back at the weeks where I lost..and my calories were between 1600-1800... this past week I was above 2000 the majority of the week..and only worked out 3 times. I need to move 5-6 days/week. I will take sunday off.. but perhaps will do yoga or pilates.. and I will still go practice. Just like being consistent with working out.. I have to be consistent with singing. The voice is a muscle and needs to be worked out too.. It's been awhile since I practiced daily.. and my voice is showing that... It was very tired yesterday.. I just need to take it slow this week.. don't get ahead of myself. I'm warming up before work for 20 minutes.. in the car.. but better than nothing.. I can do this...

I do Monday morning weigh-ins for the same reason. Weekends are the hardest.

I know your voice will improve as you get smaller. I haven't sung in probably five years, but I sang through my last weight loss. At 250+ I got so winded and had no control after 20 or 30 minutes. At 150, I could dance (a little) and sing and it was easy (and I could do it for hours).

great plan! :D I love/hate the monday weight ins. but they do make me think once or twice... or three times before i get outa control. :)

You have a great plan, which is so essential! I'd take measurments now, so you can feel good, in case you have a stubborn scale at your next weigh in!

Aye, I agree. My hubs and I do our weigh ins on Monday night, and while it just happened that way (we liked the Monday evening Weight Loss Leader at Weight Watchers best) it's turned out to be the best decision, really!

Knowing you have to weigh in on Monday keeps Sunday from being the lazy-eating everything sort of day...

Good work!

You should definitely use the measuring tape at some point. You don't have to post your measurements, but I found having a record of them was excellent for my own motivation

Sounds like you have a great exercise plan going! Keep up the excellent work but don't forget to take a rest day or two. It's important for your body.
